There are a few member's who have built there own or used one made for another car, like an Integra or something. As long as the intake tube is the same size as the TB or bigger, it won't be as restricting as the stock intake tube. Check out Gadget's engine(top of every page), or MeLikeyStripperChick's TC, or Custom87 built a badass cold air intake kit for his car. Monty also has a CAI, I think.

Actually Spectre stuff isn't too crazy expensive .... a lot of that stuff is probably on the shelf at your local AutoZone.

Personally, I think the modular intakes are a semi-cool idea, provided they're fairly sturdy when assembled.

To use the youtube brackets, you enter in only what's after the = sign. For example, (YT)2szTh8dtErU(/YT) (I used your vid for example of what goes into the brackets), except you use brackets, not parenthesis. Get it?

BTW, I don't think the camera does it justice.

You can just use the throttle cable under the hood, makes it a lot easier.

And you're welcome mang, glad to help.

Ask scott about the PCV based intake he got for 20bux on ebay. It's funny.

What breather are you talking about, the line that goes from the throttle body to the oil fill tube? Yes, you need that, if only to keep the holes all plugged up to keep it from sucking unfiltered air.

Oh, and dump that stock airbox bracket. It looks a bit silly under the new intake.

What did it end up costing you? I'm going to be in need of creating some sort of new intake system for my car when I get around to doing the mass air setup.
