No it will not. All 2002 and older panthers have 0 offset wheels. I have 9" wide 0 offset and they fit no problem. Anything skinnier and I'd suggest that you stick to negative offset wheels.
Actually as I am becoming rather familiar with the drifter world, I decided to get a laugh and see what dimension wheel was need to be flush with the ouside of the fender like most drifter cars. If memory serves me it was 11" wide with -35 offset, in theory we could fit as wide as 13" or so, but there is no point unless you enjoy spending $300-$500 per tire lol.

ok so I know you posted the conversion chart for offset and backspacing but I found a set of 17x8 with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern but an offset of 45. These definitely will not work will they? sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm new to the group, name's Pat.
